Our team led the development and construction of two operating offshore wind farms in Taiwan, Formosa 1 and Formosa 2.
Corio Generation is jointly developing Formosa 3 with TotalEnergies, a multi-phase offshore wind project off the coast of Changhua County on Taiwan’s central-western coast.
In 2023, Formosa 3 submitted the administrative contract to Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs for the project’s first phase, Haiding 2, following the allocation of a 600 MW grid capacity at the end of 2022.
In late 2024, the project also submitted the administrative contract for an additional 360 MW as part of Taiwan’s Round 3.2 grid connection award.
