The United States has a federal government target to deploy 30 GW of offshore wind by 2030 and establish a pathway to deploy 110 GW by 2050.

Energising America
with offshore wind

Corio Generation is developing up to 3 GW of offshore wind off the East Coast of the United States as a part of the Attentive Energy consortium.

Attentive Energy One, developed by TotalEnergies, Corio Generation and Rise Light & Power, aims to provide up to 1,404 MW of renewable energy for the State of New York. The project is expected to produce enough clean electricity to power up to 700,000 homes and involves a plan to repurpose an existing 400 MW thermal generator.

Attentive Energy Two, developed by TotalEnergies and Corio Generation, aims to provide up to 1,342 MW of renewable energy to the State of New Jersey. The project is expected to generate enough clean electricity to power more than 600,000 homes.

“Our Attentive Energy projects could deliver almost 3 GW of renewable electricity to the Atlantic East Coast, allowing Corio and our partners to make a milestone contribution to the United States’ transition to a secure, renewable and low-carbon energy future.”
