Energising Vietnam with offshore wind

Corio Generation has three proposed offshore wind projects totalling 4.5 GW under development in Vietnam.

If fully realised, the portfolio of projects is expected to provide enough clean energy for up to 3.6 million homes and help support over 7,000 jobs.

The Northern Binh Thuan offshore wind farm could be the first gigawatt-scale offshore wind farm in Binh Thuan province. The project of up to 3 GW was first proposed in 2019 and, since then, Corio has been actively engaging with the provincial authority and relevant central Vietnamese Government ministries and agencies.

Among our other two proposed projects: the Vung Tau offshore wind farm would be located off the coast of Ba Ria in Vung Tau province, while the Hai Phong offshore wind project would be located off the coast of Hai Phong city.
